NU Degree (Pass) result, year by year

This page is for students of the National University Degree (Pass) course, the three year BA, BSS, BBS and BSc programme. Choose your year, enter your exam details and the marksheet opens right below the form. When all three years are done, there is a consolidated option that shows your overall CGPA.

It is an independent tool. It reads from NU's public result records and does not replace the official site.

Which option should I choose?

The Degree list has more entries than the other pages, and that is where people get stuck. Here is what each one is for.

Option in the formPick it when
Degree 1st YearYou want the result of your first year exam.
Degree 2nd YearYou want the result of your second year exam.
Degree 3rd YearYou want the result of your third and final year exam.
Degree Consolidated ResultAll three years are finished and you want the overall CGPA in one marksheet.
Degree 2 Years CourseYou belong to an older batch that studied under the earlier two year degree course.
Degree (Subs.)Your own admit card or registration paper says so. This is mostly for older students.
Not sure?Look at the heading printed on your admit card. It names the exam you sat for, and that is the option to pick.

How to get your marksheet

  1. Set the program to Degree Pass. On this page it is already selected for you.
  2. Choose the year or course from the second dropdown, using the table above.
  3. Enter the exam year exactly as it appears on your admit card.
  4. Type your roll and registration numbers in English digits. The registration number is required, so do not leave it empty.
  5. Press View Result. The marksheet loads under the form. Use the Download PDF button if you want a copy. Your browser may block the print window, so allow pop-ups for this site if nothing opens.

Mistakes that waste time

Using the year the result was published. The form wants the exam year on your admit card. Results often come out in a later calendar year, so the two numbers can be different.

Choosing Consolidated too early. If your third year result has not been published, there is nothing to consolidate yet. Try the year you are waiting on instead.

Copying numbers with hidden spaces. Numbers pasted from a chat app sometimes carry a space at the end. If the form says no result, retype the numbers by hand.

Picking the old two year option by accident. It sits close to the others in the list and has a similar name. Unless your admit card says two year course, stay with the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year options.

Most of the time, a failed search comes down to one small detail. Go through the options, the exam year and both numbers once more, slowly, before you decide that something is wrong with your result.

Common questions

When does the consolidated result appear?

Only after the third year result is published and your earlier years are on record. NU announces result dates on its notice board.

The result says I failed, but I think that is wrong. What can I do?

You can apply for a script recheck during the window that NU announces. Our revaluation page explains how that works and where to look for the new result.

Is this the same as the Honours page?

No. Honours is a four year course with its own results. If you are an Honours student, go to the Honours result page.

Can I download the marksheet?

Yes. After the result loads, use the Download PDF button above the marksheet. It opens your browser print window, where you can pick Save as PDF.
